Strategies to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic risk
The interdisciplinary research project aims at developing strategies to fight the pandemic spreading of Covid-19 and other viral infections.
Two main themes will be considered:

• Identify  the main sources of epidemic risk, through analysis of the data on infection spreading
• Modeling the epidemic dynamics at various levels of complexity: from homogeneous mean-field models to heterogeneous models on a complex network.

Several researchers from various Department of the University of Catania are involved.
