Nato a Venezia il 28 Dicembre 1970, ho studiato alla l'Università degli Studi di Padova, ed ho continuato la mia formazione alla University of Maryland, College Park, USA ed alla Utrecht Universiteit, Utrecht, Paesi Bassi. Ricercatore universitario alla Università degli Studi di Padova dal Gennaio 2005, mi sono trasferito come Professore Associato alla Università degli Studi di Catania dal Marzo 2016.
