Indam grant holder, attends courses at several universities Prague, Rome,Perugia e la scuola normale superiore (Cortona). PhD student at the universities of Catania-Messina-Palermo and obtains the PhD in Mathematics in 1992. 

Winner of the prize ``G. Iapichino" by Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei for Mathematical Analysis.

Delivers several seminars and talks at several universities. Among them: Philadelphia, Berkeley, Dayton, Pittsburgh, Madrid, KAUST, American University of Beirut, Arab Beirut University, Tokyo Metropolitan University, Chuo University, University of Kyoto, Bandung Institute of Technology and in Italy Trento, Trieste, Milano, L'Aquila, Pisa, Padova, Bologna, Modena, Firenze, Urbino, Napoli, Salerno, Messina.
