Learning Objectives

The primary goal of the course is to get involved in some theoretical problems concerning Partial Differential Equations.

Course Structure

The topics in the course are exposed in a purely theoretical way although they may be applied to Engineering and Physics. Most of the lectures are given in traditional way. Approximately 20% of class hours will be devoted to exercises. Then they may try to solve the exercises even trough collaboration among them. This is because the students may experiment the difficulty of the topics and from collaboration they get the tools to overcome the difficulty.

Should teaching be carried out in mixed mode or remotely, it may be necessary to introduce changes with respect to previous statements, in line with the programme planned and outlined in the syllabus. Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Detailed Course Content

Classical and generalized solutions of Partial Differential Equations. Regularity topics for elliptic equations.
