My research project aims to explore how technological innovation, through the use of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, can contribute to improving quality of life and ensuring greater safety in both healthcare and investigative fields.
The research activity focuses on the study and development of advanced Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms, with particular attention to the analysis of data collected from video surveillance systems and heterogeneous acquisition devices. These data are essential in the healthcare sector, where they enable the monitoring and management of critical situations, enhancing the safety and well-being of both patients and healthcare personnel. In the investigative sector, they support the development of solutions designed to strengthen the analytical and operational capabilities of law enforcement agencies.

The overarching goal is to provide timely and effective decision-making support in highly complex contexts.
