Umberto GUARNOTTA
U. Guarnotta was born in Catania in 1994. After graduating in Mathematics from the University of Catania in 2018, he obtained his PhD in 2021. In 2024, he received the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) for the role of Associate Professor. He is currently a Senior Assistant Professor (RTDb) at the same university, where he conducts research in the field of partial differential equations.
Existence, multiplicity, regularity, and qualitative properties for solutions of:
-
Singular, convective, and/or discontinuous differential problems (via variational, topological, and set-valued methods);
-
Elliptic problems with loss of compactness (critical growth and/or unbounded domain);
-
Elliptic problems with non-standard growth operators (in Orlicz and Musielak-Orlicz spaces);
-
Anisotropic parabolic problems.
