Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance Group (QAG) of the PhD programme is responsible for monitoring the processes and outcomes related to doctoral students’ research, teaching, and third mission/social impact activities, also through the collection and analysis of their feedback. The QAG prepares the Quality Assurance (QA) documentation for the PhD in Mathematics and Computational Sciences. The current composition of the QAG is as follows (to be updated following the admission of new doctoral students):

On 15 June 2026, an Advisory Board was established, composed as follows:
- Dr Alessandro Cardinali – former executive at ENEA
- Dr Andrea De Gaetano – former Director of IRIB-CNR
- Dr Ciro Del Negro – Research Manager at INGV
- Dr Eng. Davide Marano – Product Portfolio Manager, SHL Medical AG, Switzerland
- Dr Lorenzo Micalizzi – Postdoctoral researcher, North Carolina State University; former student of the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS), Catania
- Eng. Salvatore Rinaudo – CAD Manager, STMicroelectronics
- Dr Andrea Santoro – MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow at the ISI Foundation, Turin; former student of the Scuola Normale Superiore (SNS), Catania
