Graduation Exam

The final examination consists of verifying the graduating student's ability to clearly and proficiently present and discuss either the results of a research project (whether theoretical or applied) or a personal dissertation related to laboratory work or one of the subjects covered in the degree programme. The thesis will usually consist of a written dissertation, which may be accompanied by the description of a software project developed by the student. It must be prepared under the supervision of a faculty member who assumes responsibility as the internal advisor (relatore) and is normally a member of the Degree Programme Board. The Bachelor's thesis is typically written in Italian, but may also be submitted in English.

Degree Examination Regulations in force as of July 2026 (in Italian - approved by the Degree Programme Board on March 19, 2026).
