The primary focus of my research is the study of the regularity of weak solutions for certain classes of elliptic and parabolic partial differential equations with non-smooth coefficients and right-hand sides with low integrability. In short, my work has addressed questions related to Hilbert's 19th problem.
For further information on the history of regularity and on Hilbert’s 19th problem, see Chapter 4 of the book The Abel Prize 2013–2017 (Springer), available at this link, and consult the related bibliography for further details.
