Rita TRACINA'

Associate Professor of Mathematical physics [MAT/07]

Rita Tracinà is associate professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Catania. Her teaching activities is at the Faculty of Engineering and at the Faculty of Mathematics of the University of Catania. Member of the National (Italian) Group of Mathematical Physics. Her fields of interest are: equivalence transformations, differential invariants of equivalence transformations, symmetry classifications and exact solutions of PDEs, reaction-diffusion systems, hyperbolic systems and nonlinear wave propagation, conservation laws.

Born in Catania, Italy, on  October 26, 1964.

Educational background:

Graduate, Master and Phd in Mathematics.

Current position: Associate Professor of Mathematical Physics at the University of Catania.
