PhD Courses
The educational programme of the PhD in Computer Science includes attendance at advanced courses closely related to research in the field of Computer Science. Its aim is to provide doctoral candidates with a solid theoretical and methodological foundation. The courses address key topics in modern computer science, ensuring in-depth knowledge of the technologies and methods that represent both the foundation and the future of the discipline. The objective is to support doctoral candidates in developing the skills required to conduct original, high-level research and to prepare them to address scientific and technological challenges through innovative approaches. In the first year of each PhD cycle, several courses are offered.
Starting from the 40th cycle, the educational programme has been further expanded and, within a framework of continuous improvement, the introduction of multidisciplinary seminars is currently being discussed in collaboration with doctoral candidates. The aim is to promote open dialogue among different research areas, fostering collaboration and the integration of diverse perspectives in order to address the challenges of computer science in an increasingly innovative and interdisciplinary manner.
