Steering Committee

The Steering Committee for Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees in Computer Science (Comitato di Indirizzo) is the permanent consultative body linking the degree programmes with the workforce, professions, and the research sector. Established in compliance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG), current national legislation, and ANVUR Guidelines, the Committee plays a strategic role in ensuring that the educational offerings align with the needs of the socio-economic and scientific context.

Through periodic meetings and structured opportunities for dialogue, the Committee contributes to defining and updating graduate professional profiles, provides insights into evolving skills required by the job market and the research system, and supports the degree programmes in their self-assessment and continuous quality improvement processes. The Committee is composed of qualified representatives from the corporate, professional, and research sectors, identified as key stakeholders for the Computer Science field.

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science operates two distinct Steering Committees: one for the mathematics track and one for the computer science track (incorporating the L-31 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, the Master's Degree in Computer Science, and the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science). The current composition of the Committee has been approved by the respective boards.
