The primary goals of my research include designing, developing, and analyzing solutions within the Smart Grid domain. Initially, my investigations focused on creating a novel methodology based on characterizing colors to detect photovoltaic (PV) solar panels and categorize Land Use and Land Cover (LULC) in remote sensing images.
Current research efforts include defining a market model for energy trading in cooperative energy communities, leveraging blockchain technology to ensure data privacy and prevent counterfeiting.
Another blockchain-enabled system I have actively researched involves an architecture in the healthcare domain for enhancing emergency response, specifically for ambulance dispatching. Using smart contracts, this approach validates data via a fully decentralized component, ensuring that all actions during emergency interventions are traceable and secure without relying on a central authority.
