Fixed-term Assistant Professor (RTDA) of Mathematical physics [MAT/07]

Dr. Giovanni Nastasi is a research fellow in mathematical physics at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the University of Catania. He was a postdoctoral research fellow from 2019 to 2021 at the same department. He achieved the Ph.D. in 2020 with a thesis on "Modeling and simulation of charge transport in graphene", supervisor Prof. V. Romano. He achieved a master's degree in mathematics in 2016 with a thesis on "Monte Carlo simulation for charge transport in graphene", advisor Prof. V. Romano.
His research interests concern mathematical models and simulations for charge transport in low dimensional structures and for field-effect transistors.
