Detailed Course Content

Error analysis theory. Linear systems: direct and iterative methods. Least square method: approximation theory and solution of overdetermined systems. Eigenvalues: power method, similarity transformations, Householder and Givens methods. Interpolation theory, Bezier curves, orthogonal polynomials, trigonometric interpolation. Non linear equations, gradient methods. Quadrature formulas: Newton-Cotes and gaussian methods.
