Expected Learning Outcomes

The student is supposed to be able to solve simple equations and inequalities in the real field, equations in the complex field. Plot a real variable function and study recursive sequences.


Course Structure

Almost all lectures are delivered at the blackboard in order to communicate the methods of Mathematical Analysis. Emphasis is put on examples and results. Most of them are then discussed in detail with the students.

Should teaching be carried out in blended mode or remotely, some changes will be needed. Learning assessment may also be carried out on line, should the conditions require it.

Detailed Course Content

Real and complex numbers. Limits of functions and sequences. Differential calculus. Recursive sequences. Graphs of functions.
