Biagio RICCERI

Full Professor of Mathematical analysis [MAT/05]

Biagio Ricceri was born in 1955. He is full professor of Mathematical Analysis since 1987, first at Messina University and, since 1997, at Catania University. In 1993 he founded the journal Set-Valued Analysis (Springer) of which he was the Editor-in-Chief up to 2014. In 2015 he became the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Le Matematiche. In 2016 he founded the journal Minimax Theory and its Applications (Heldermann) of which he is the Editor-in-Chief. He was the coordinator of the PhD program in Mathematics. He is of the five members of the International Working Group in Nonlinear Analysis and Convex Analysis. He is a member of the Accademia Gioenia di Catania. His researches mainly lie in the following fields: Minimax Theory, Set-Valued Analysis, Convex Analysis, Optimization Theory, Calculus of Variations, Nonlinear Analysis, Functional Analysis.
